George Voinovich

Mr. Voinovich served as United States senator from Ohio for 11 years. He previously served as governor of Ohio from 1991-1998, and mayor of Cleveland from 1980-1989. While in Congress, Senator Voinovich served on the Committee on Appropriations, Committee on Environment and Public Works, and the Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs. Voinovich is recognized for his fiscal leadership on budget policies.
