Mr. Gradison served nine terms in Congress as a member from Ohio, where he was the
ranking member of the House Budget Committee and the ranking member on the Health
Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee. Prior to that, he was the assistant
to the secretary of Health, Education and Welfare, an under secretary of the Treasury, and
mayor of Cincinnati. Since leaving Congress, he has been president of the Health Insurance
Association of America, a member of the audit committee for Project HOPE, and the senior
public policy counselor at Patton Boggs. Currently, he is a member of the Board of the Public
Company Accounting Oversight Board.
